Apple Crisp Recipe Syrup

Apple Crisp Syrup 🍎🍂 Ingredients * 1 cup apple juice * 2 apples, peeled, cored, and finely chopped * ½ cup brown sugar * 2 tbsp granulated sugar * ½ tsp ground cinnamon * ¼ tsp ground nutmeg * ⅛ tsp ground ginger * Pinch of salt * 1 tsp vanilla extract * ¼ tsp butter extract Instructions 1. Add the apple juice, chopped apples, brown sugar, granulated sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and salt to a small saucepan. 2. Bring to a gentle simmer over medium-low heat. 3. Simmer for 10–15 minutes, stirring occasionally and gently pressing the apples as they soften. 4. Strain the mixture through a fine mesh strainer, pressing lightly on the apples to extract the flavorful liquid. 5. Return the strained syrup to the saucepan. 6. Simmer uncovered for another 3–5 minutes, or until it reduces and lightly coats the back of a spoon. 7. Remove from the heat and stir in the vanilla and butter extract. 8. Allow it to cool completely. It will thicken more as it cools. 9. Transfer to a clean bottle or jar and refrigerate. Good for up to 2 weeks. 10. Enjoy!
